About Tending Me
Nurturing Your Inner Wellspring
It's quite common for people to have a winding, twisting path, and my story fits that mold very well. I began my adult life with a Master of Music from New England Conservatory in Vocal Performance. Translation: I was an opera singer, and I taught private voice & piano lessons 6 days a week. Soon I found myself returning to the notion of walking alongside others. At the time, I called this ministry, and I became a pastor. Somewhere in my mid 30's I hit a wall. We were running a small church in the city that was also home to a community center and a short-film production arm and our family was increasing. Contemplative practices saved me from drowning, but I knew I needed more. I began my Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Guidance with an Interspiritual emphasis. I added a certifcation in Sound Healing. And things started to shift. I started working with the difficult in my life, nurturing and tending to what needed healing, compassion, and listening.
Tending Me is about taking the time you need to be present to you and to that which is divine in your life so that you can be more present to the rest of your life.
